I hope others in the region will support the Wild Olympics campaign to strengthen protection of precious habitat. This project is the result of a broad coalition of groups working over several years in consultations with virtually anyone interested in the Olympic Peninsula.
It’s particularly striking that not a single river here is designated as Wild and Scenic under federal law. Let’s keep moving forward with this sensible plan sensitive to a wide range of interests.
