I recently attended the Wild Olympics Open House, which was held at Grays Harbor College to learn what the campaign was about. I was able to get my questions answered and found that this campaign is working to permanently protect some of the places that matter most to me.
Some of my most treasured memories are from when my grandmother would take me on hikes throughout the peninsula just as her mother did with her, and now as a new mother, I look forward to when I can take my daughter to those same places. I want my child to have the same opportunities to play and be inspired by these areas that I had.
This is why now, more than ever, protecting these places matters to me and should matter to all parents raising children on the Olympic Peninsula.
Sincerely,
Kimberly Warrior
